I asked this question over on the review forum and was pointed this direction. I was wondering if anyone has successfully been able to track the IP's from guestbook/review submissions. There are two things I am hoping to do.

First, log IPs in the system, I am in the process of attempting this right now, but was wondering if anyone has already done this and can point me in a good direction.

Second, limit the number of submissions. The guestbook and review blocks have been built to use the IP banning system of the site so banned IPs cannot post. I am wondering if there is a way to manipulate it so that it adds IPs to the blacklist after a review and guestbook submission?
