1½ years ago, I installed Concrete5 on a new site. I was elated to read that Parallax was a readily available feature, but never unwrapped that one. I have searched tutorials, videos, blogs, and this community and have not found the custom class listed as an option. (Please do not criticize the phrase "custom class"--just know that I looked for the appropriate one according to the step-by-step documentation and tutorials.) I have looked for the appropriate class over and again. I have updated my Concrete5 installation to 8.5.4. I was so happy to see a number of PHP errors and content editing errors resolved that I actually found renewed inspiration to develop my site. At this time, it still lacks Parallax, and it has been an aggravation to the point of considering starting all over (and possibly losing the progress that has been achieved). I have yet to change it from the default theme. Please advise.
The default theme doesn't [edit - it does, as per @VidalThemes below] do parallax. However, several marketplace themes do and there is even one with parallax in its title.

John, there is a parallax option baked into C5, its a custom template in the content block, have used it a few times myself, it works pretty well. will do a step by step for PointsToPonder later today.
