Hi All,

Is it possible to get rid og the index.php part so that my pages can be requested as .co.uk/newpage/ instead of .co.uk/index.php/newpage

Yes, you can. You will need to enable "clean urls" to do this. In the dashboard, go to "System & Settings", and under the "Seo and Statistics" category, you will find enbable pretty URLs.
