Error connecting to Concrete 5 community

I am trying to connect to the concrete 5 community from the backend of my website however, it keeps giving me this error:
Error establishing connection to the concrete5 community. Please check that curl and other required libraries are enabled.
Once I click to connect it then says that my site token is already in use. What does this mean? I have contacted my hosting company and they said it is an error with concrete 5. Does anyone have any feedback? Thanks!

Try this process to reconnect to the community and be sure to clear your site's cache (even if it's not enabled) after:http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/reconnect-to...
Thanks Julia! Would this step impose any other problems. Clear, wipeout anything?
