How to Hide Certain Page Types in the Pages tool

Permalink
Is there a way I can hide particular page types under the Pages tool?
I would like certain page types to remain hidden from users so they can't select them.

"cant select them" its a little wide area (what do you mean?). If you talk about "Member Login Area" please add more details.

In general:
A.Exclude from Nav:
For end users you can Exclude from Nav some pages. You also can set this attribute to be automatically "true" in some page type (under: pages/types/attributes). Or you can add this attribute to page types->"edit form".

B. Permissions:
dashboard->pages->types >:: "permissions" label

Hi,
Sorry for the vague description.

I am looking to hide certain page types on the 'Pages' tool from the Dashboard. I do not want a user to be able to create a new page by clicking on a page type from the 'Pages' tool.
I have created the page types in 'Page Type & Settings' , but want to exclude certain page types to appear on the 'Pages' tool in the Dashboard so that users will not create those types of pages.
