Uninstalling the discussion forums pack

Hello!
I've shifted to using punBB on a subdomain, I'm just posting here to get any head ups before I uninstall this packagae from c5, is there anything I should do or avoid etc? I know it's just an addons but it's slightly bigger than your regular addon.
On a side note will someone help me with some CHMODing? For those experienced with forum installations certain folders need to be writable by PHP, I can see the writable field but who do I enable it for: Group or Other? :S I'm using eApps hosting. Drop me a PM if you can help :)

You should be able to just uninstall it through the Dashboard.
